AFP Audio Conference - October

Please contact Judy Saylor at jsaylor@cisjax.org  if you have problems registering online for the audio conference.

All audio conferences are free to AFP members. Members who are planning on attending the audio conference should register for the event so that they receive handouts and presentation materials. Each session qualifies for 1.5 points toward CFRE education requirements.

 

Scholarships

Applications are now being accepted for First Coast Chapter Scholarships to the AFP International Conference in Baltimore, MD – April 12-16, 2010.

These scholarships are competitive and only three will be awarded.  If you are interested applying, follow the instructions for the International Conference Scholarship in the attached packet by October 15 for consideration.    The Scholarship Committee will meet after the deadline to review the applications and notify the recipients prior to the October 31 Early Bird Registration Deadline.  

New and Renewal Membership as well as Educational Scholarships are also still available.

Every Member Campaign

Attention all members, please consider making your gift to the Every Member Campaign today. Your gift is an investment that provides a direct return to you and your professional development. National Philanthropy Day

Remember, National Philanthropy Day is Wednesday, November 18 Hyatt Regency Jacksonville

National Philanthropy Day Table reservations are now open! Please visit the AFP First Coast Chapter website section for National Philanthropy Day to access the on-line reservation system or visit www.npdreservations.com. We are delighted that we can now accept on-line credit card payments.

The Early Bird Table price of $500 for a table of 10 or individual seats at $50 each will be available through September 26.

You can use the site to submit your Table Honoree write-up and picture. Remember, your write-up cannot exceed 100 words in length. You have until October 16 to submit this information so that it will be included in the Giving Guide produced by the Jacksonville Business Journal, the video produced by WJCT and the Event Program.

You and your honoree will also be invited to the National Philanthropy Day Reception on Thursday, November 5, hosted by Michael Ward, Philanthropist of the Year for 2008.

The AFP First Coast Chapter and the National Philanthropy Day Committee wants to thank ISF Group for the tremendous work on our on-line reservation system.
