The Development Coordinator is responsible for internal management of all corporate and campaign funding activities. You will report directly to the Director of Development and work with our corporate and business clients.
The essential duties and responsibilities of the Development Coordinator are: Support corporate development with research, identification and qualifying potential corporate sponsors. Set meetings with, cultivate and go on solicitation calls with potential corporate sponsors. Under the direction of the development director, prepare proposals, contracts, acknowledgments, renewal letters, sponsor reports and internal reports. Maintain corporate sponsorship records. Steward sponsors and their representatives at performances. Track and manage the accurate delivery of benefits. Coordinate sponsorships with the organization's other philanthropic fundraising activities. Oversees the advertising sales for the theatre's program, Ovation.
Qualifications and Requirements: This is a fast-paced environment in which a flexible and results-oriented team player will thrive. Attendance at evening and weekend events is required. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree and at least 3 -5 years of development experience or business development, preferably in the Northeast Florida market. Computer literacy plus excellent communication, organizational and project management skills are required.
